We often cross paths with people without realizing how much we can learn from them. This project began from that realization: I'm surrounded by people who's work and ways of seeing the world is something I want to learn more about.
The People I Know turns a personal interview project into a quietly charming portfolio site built around illustrated doors — each one a numbered entry point to a different creative professional. The grid of hand-drawn doors as navigation is a simple metaphor executed with real warmth, and discipline filters (Architecture, Design, Fashion, Tech) let you explore by world without losing the human scale of the whole thing.
A lovely reference for anyone building community-driven or dialogue-based platforms who wants personality to lead without sacrificing navigability. The illustration-meets-minimal interface combo is rare and worth studying.
